I'm grateful to whoever uploaded this. I'm a former patient @ St. Jude in Memphis (dismissed after 16 years in 2002) which most people know credits Danny as founder. I began in 1986 and he was just an old tv star to me then @age 9--not someone I had really heard of. Since I am disabled from subsequent cancer diagnoses and on a limited income, I cannot afford to buy the DVDs and youtube didn't have a full episode I could find. I haven't yet watched this--just grateful I can. They run these in the pavillion where Danny Thomas is buried (I was at the hospital last week for a St. Jude for Life study--first return since 2002) but it's always noisy and I couldn't hear anything. Thanks for uploading this so I can see the show that launched him into stardom which ultimately produced a place so amazing you would have to visit to believe.
Glad somebody uploaded this. The scheming children/grandmother result in some fun mischief. The two Pall Mall commercials are completely awful and inferior to many commercials made for some other cigarette brands of the time. The Dodge commercial is fantastic though, and is a lot like DeSoto commercials of the same time. Danny's character is wonderfully annoying in the best way possible. The ABC-TV logo is moderately rare and fun to see in such good condition.
Who knew a cookie jar could cause so much trouble!
A slightly unusual show, well-worth watching.
Again, thank YOU uploader..!
(review slightly re-written for spelling and grammar, may still have such errors though...I always seem to overlook a few spelling/grammar mistakes each time).
